Don't worry about wasting your one shot; each match-up is a best out of three, and after each fight is another opportunity to get stronger. An opportunity from three choices! We heard choices matter, but sometimes there's just too many options. So we decided to make players always pick one option out of three for everything! Choosing your weapon, your color, your opponent, your stat upgrades, your gear, and even your special Augments. Every choice matters! Depending on which enemy you picked, your reward for winning a fight is one of 3 places; The Blacksmith, the Ref's Booth, and the Fan Club. Each place has unique mechanics, resources, and stats that interact with eachother, so juggling your visits and making use of what you get is key to winning a run. Avoid rerolling your choices to keep the Ref happy so you can obtain rarer Augments that enable new playstyles. Gain additional Redirects to reposition in times of need while utilizing unconventional stats like Emptiness and The Will to Proceed. Scale your Hype and cater to your fans so they can fight alongside you. Whether you specialize in one mechanic/stat or make use of as many as you can, there are several unique ways to play every weapon ball. And for an additional challenge, you can unlock up to 3 Bracket levels that add significant modifiers to the run. I love "pick 3" mechanics. I love picking from 3 options. Positive affirmations.
