Pennants of Glory: Condottiere is a single-player medieval RTS/RPG about running a mercenary company. Recruit and equip your troops, choose contracts across a procedural kingdom, and command up to 600 of your soldiers in real-time 3D battles. The campaign continues whether you take part in a war or stay out of it. Factions raise armies, fight over territory, and besiege towns. Trade follows the roads, raiders hunt merchants, and shortages change what settlements can buy and sell. Your company has to find its place in that world. Command whole formations in real time, with pause to plan your next move. Set your lines, brace against charges, and send reserves where they're needed. Strike an exposed flank to break the enemy, or pull tired troops back before they flee. Build a company of up to eight formations and take five into battle. Recruit captains, equip your troops, and train them for different roles. Your soldiers gain experience between contracts, but casualties and lost equipment cost money to replace. Break the enemy line and push troops through the gap before it closes. Keep reserves ready to protect your own ranks or cover a retreat when the line gives way.
