"This galaxy ain't big enough for the both of us!" Outer Rangers is a chaotic party brawler with goofy ragdoll physics. Lasso, kick and use items to face off against your friends in both local and online multiplayer. The goal is to be the last Ranger standing! Use Your Lasso! Like all real cowboys, your best weapon is the humble Lasso. Wrangle your opponents and try to yank them off the map before they're able to untie the knot! Untie Yourself! When a Ranger inevitably gets lassoed or knocked out, a code will appear. Successfully inputting this code will allow you to break free of the lasso. This code will get longer and longer each time you get tied up. Goofy Ragdoll Physics! All maps feature physics interactions in places you'd expect - and some places you wouldn't. Find goofy physics combinations that even the developers haven't stumbled upon. Use All Your Tools! Outer Rangers features items that will randomly populate on the map. Pick up and use these items to increase the chaos and unpredictability of matches. Use jetpacks, electro-mines, antigravity grenades, pulse blasters, and much more to send your rivals off the edge. Endless Outcomes! Combining the lasso system with ragdoll physics, destructive items and disruptive stage hazards creates endless opportunities for chaos and goofiness.
