When the master hidden deep within the Nabari-no-Miya is defeated, the structure vanishes, and the monsters fade with it. For generations, the prestigious Itsutsuno family of Takakumo City has bravely entered the Nabari-no-Miya each time it appears, defeating its master to protect the land. And now, the Nabari-no-Miya has appeared once more. Chiho Itsutsuno, head of the Itsutsuno family, sets out to fulfill her duty and confront the darkness within. She’s bold, confident, and occasionally a bit reckless — but she also carries the pride and responsibility of her noble lineage, earning the respect and affection of the townsfolk. ■Sophia A girl clad in elegant, European-style clothing. She appears before Chiho as she ventures toward the Nabari-no-Miya. ■Ushiromaru A female merchant who frequently appears within the Nabari-no-Miya. It’s said she hides her face because of her shy nature. She offers Chiho assistance in exchange for gold. ■Sakura Yoshino A girl born in the land of Hinomoto. She possesses deer-like ears, antlers, and a tail — along with physical abilities far beyond those of ordinary people. ■Kumakaya He was the king of a country that once opposed the Okimi in Hinomoto. He was known as an unrivaled brave warrior, and sometimes personally led the front lines to defeat the Okimi's army. However, he was assassinated by a subordinate who fell victim to an enemy plot. It is said that the blood of a god ran strong in his veins. ■Himuka Itsutsuno Chiho's father. During the previous "Kamimadoi", he reportedly went to "Nabarinomiya" and resolved it, but he never returned. His strength was immense, earning him the title of "Kishin".
