Choose two or three cards and combine them. Every discovery becomes a new ingredient, opening up more things to try. Follow Targets to find the key discoveries that take you through each Age. Hints and research help when you get stuck. Feeling curious? Turn off Target mode to see every card you own and experiment freely. Discoveries extend beyond the Age targets, and the game is not limited to a fixed list of objects. Switch whenever you like. Both approaches use the same collection, and your discoveries and progress stay with you. You can explore freely while progressing through the Ages and keep discovering after you complete them. Journey through 16 Ages. Keep discovering beyond them. Begin in the Stone Age and follow key discoveries through inventions, cultures and technologies, all the way to the Age of Intelligence. Each Age gives you goals to work towards within a much larger world of possibilities. Completing all 16 Ages does not mean you have discovered everything. Explore beyond their targets at any point, and keep experimenting with your collection after the guided journey ends. Make discoveries nobody else has found New Science is connected to one shared world of discoveries. Many combinations are already known, but countless possibilities remain undiscovered. Find a valid new combination before anyone else and your name will be permanently recorded as its original discoverer. Your experiments do not only complete your own collection. They can expand the game for every player. Experiment with open-ended combinations New Science is not restricted to a small, fixed recipe book. Its AI-powered discovery system interprets the objects you combine and determines what they could logically create. Familiar combinations produce satisfying results, while unusual experiments can lead to discoveries you did not expect. If a combination makes sense, there is a good chance the game will understand it. Collect, trade and complete your archive Every discovery becomes a collectible card with its own illustration and place in the global archive. Complete your collection, search for missing discoveries and obtain rare foil versions of your favourite cards. Trade duplicate cards with other players to help complete each other’s collections, or hold on to rare finds that show how far you have travelled through history. Take part in monthly challenges Each month introduces a new season with fresh objectives and a new leaderboard. Race to uncover selected target discoveries, work with your team and compete for permanent seasonal accolades. Leaderboards reset with each season, giving both new and returning players another opportunity to take part. Play alone or as part of a community Progress through history at your own pace, compare collections with other players or join a team and work towards shared objectives.
