GAMEPLAY Medium Rare is a turn-based survival dungeon crawler. Move floor to floor through a grid-based map, making tactical resource management decisions, as you decide when to push forward and when to extract back to base. STORY Cannibalism has been industrialized. As the world's resources run dry your wife is taken to ExeCo, the world's most renowned human meat processing plant, somewhere up the mountain. Cannibals, Infected, and mutant animals are between you and it. FEATURES Turn-based gunfights – every bullet matters. Combat is dice-based and weapons synergize to make intuitive combos that could help you save resources. Inventory Tetris – one case, never enough room. Decide what's worth carrying and what gets left behind. A brief respite – the one place on the mountain that isn't trying to eat you. Upgrades – haul parts home and upgrade yourself and your tools. Extract or push deeper – leave with your haul, or gamble it for a richer one.
