A hospital bed. Room after room packed with monsters. Known faces from the past. Is any of this real? After a serious accident, Miki is placed in a coma and an experimental treatment is used to enter and reconstruct his subconscious. His body is in the hospital, but his mind is not. This is LUCID RUMINATION: a first-person action roguelite in which Miki's memories, fears, and relationships are manifested in the world around him. Battle his way through the changing rooms of his subconscious. Face monsters spawned from his inner demons. Piece together what happened to him – and why certain people keep appearing in his dreams. Each run you go deeper into Miki's mind. Fight enemies in fast-paced first person combat using bizarre weapons pulled from his memories, discover powerful upgrades that change the way you fight, and merge weapons together to create entirely new ways to survive. Need not always be the same. But death is part of the cure. Miki falls down and wakes up again in the hospital. You lose most of what you collected, but not all of it has to be lost. Choose what is worth bringing back with you, grow yourself up in between, and use what you learned to push further next time you enter the simulation. You are not completely alone. Miki's subconscious is filled with familiar faces, offering help, conversation and fragments of a past he may not yet be ready to remember.
