Hetero-Genesis

Hetero-Genesis is a portrait 2D deep-sea roguelite about keeping a strange body alive under pressure. You graft organs onto a deep-sea creature, trigger synergies between body parts, survive waves, and decide how far the body can be pushed before it falls apart. Shells, venom glands, tentacles, rams, electric organs, sonic organs, and regenerative tissue can form very different builds. But organs have their own condition. When a key organ breaks, the synergy it supports may collapse with it. Each dive asks you to choose a species origin, Abyss difficulty, and deep-dive contracts. Move, dash, cast active skills, draft new organs, survive the boss, then choose one of three post-boss evolution paths: deepen instinct, graft ecology, or embrace unstable mutation. The current content set includes 10 playable species, 166 organ configurations, 119 synergy effects, 10 combat waves, A0-A10 difficulty, 24 deep-dive contracts, and 34 meta-progression unlocks. Made for players who like roguelite builds, survivor-like wave pressure, short runs, and systems where a strong build can still lose a vital organ at the wrong time.
