Cafe of Roses

It's autumn and the leaves are beginning to brown. Meike, a young woman who lives and works in the German city of Augsburg, wishes she could enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the balmy weather, but she has a problem. Meike's parents are determined to set her up with the wealthy young entrepeneur, Walter: a man who, at the age of thirty-two, successfully founded his own company and exudes self-confidence. Meike's mother, in particular, is determined to see her daughter married, and Meike is being harangued into a relationship with this man she does not love. Tired and stressed, Meike decides to escape Walter one day by ducking into a quaint Victorian-inspired café where her friend, Henny, works... But, in her visit to Café of Roses, Meike meets a young woman who will change the course of her life forever.
