She can eat synthesis ingredients and synthesized items to increase her physical abilities and unlock new field actions, allowing her to explore new places. The meal she eats can also unlock unique style changes, which will alter the skills she can use during battle. As Karia eats the Echo Crystals found throughout the story, she will unravel more of the mysteries that surround the Subterranea and her own forgotten past. A renewed game cycle. Use the ingredients you gather to synthesize, then use the items you create during battle and exploration, or eat the ingredients instead to unlock abilities and open a new path forward. Gain bonuses by designing your own bases in the building areas found in each region and traverse the field to develop your base and expand the pioneering area. A new way to synthesize with mana pieces. Synthesis recipes contain both mana pieces and lines in this game. The pieces you use and the ways you connect them will alter the properties of the items you synthesize. Item rebuilding allows you to change an item's effects and traits and boost its stats. You can also unlock new recipes by fulfilling certain conditions, so the more combinations you try, the more you can discover! A more strategic combat system. Parrying and countering, charge skills and charge items which require precise timing to use, and new finishing moves add to this game's real-time action battles. Each of the party characters also has their own unique abilities, and you can team up with your allies to perform friend assists and dual attacks. Story: Two years after the alchemist Yumia uncovered the mysteries of the continent of Aladiss, the mana there begins to decline in a phenomenon known as the mana withering. One of the members of the Aladiss Pioneering Team is Karia, an adventurer with the ability to eat and analyze almost anything. Karia has no memories of her past, and not even she knows why she possesses this mysterious power. One day, she is sent to investigate a set of ruins with the researcher Servio, and the two of them stumble upon a vast undiscovered world beneath Aladiss. It's there that Karia finds a large cauldron and first comes in contact with alchemy. Karia learns that she has an innate ability for alchemy, and uses her talent to help her companions and explore the underground world. Countless mysteries await Karia and her friends beneath Aladiss, involving both ancient legends and Karia herself as she confronts her forgotten past.
