ASHEN is a top-down pixel art action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world where the sun itself became humanity's executioner. They call it the Cinder: a solar catastrophe that shattered continents, scorched the forests, and ground entire civilizations to dust. What's left of the world now drifts across the sky in fragments, islands kept alive by mysterious crystals known as Hearthstones. You are an Awakened. Touched by the Cinder, you carry something others don't: a spark, a curse, maybe both. You wake up on the island of Braseval, in a village of survivors barely holding on. And somewhere, at the heart of this broken world, the Cinder is still spreading. 🗡️ Dynamic combat: Face creatures born from the catastrophe, from ember blobs to lava golems.
