Every scarce essential has two values: what a desperate customer will pay for it — and what it could do for you after dark. RUN THE SHOP BY HAND Order stock, carry the crates in from the supplier's truck, and place every item on the shelf yourself. Set your own prices, then work the register and close the sale. SELL — OR SURVIVE THE NIGHT Gas, batteries, water, food and medicine sell well. They're also what keeps the bunker under your shop warm, lit and stocked. When the shutters close, you live on what you didn't sell — and hunger, thirst and freezing nights are all waiting for one bad call. LISTEN TO THE RADIO The radio is your only source of news — and it runs on batteries. Droughts, fuel crises, incoming storms — if it moves the market, you hear it on the radio first. Listen closely and you stock up before the crisis hits; miss it, and yesterday's profit becomes today's shortage. FILL THE CONTRACTS Customers pin order lists to the contract board. Gather what they ask for and deliver it — in return you get paid, and you receive parts you won't find anywhere else. Those parts unlock new systems for your shop. REBUILD THE LAST STASH Repair the workbench and start crafting scarce goods like medkits yourself. Keep the generator running, install new shelves — bring the shop back piece by piece. And that covered bench in the corner... its turn will come. You can sell everything. Surviving the night is another matter.
