With breakthroughs in room-temperature superconductivity, controlled nuclear fusion, and solid-state batteries, and with near-limitless energy resources, large electromagnetic catapults, giant nuclear fusion space stations, and lunar development bases are successively built, bringing us within reach of the universe. That day, the sun rises as usual, but the drones malfunction, communication networks collapse, and all forces are forced to fight independently, annihilated one by one; no nation escapes. We fight back fiercely, but less than one in ten survives. Decades later, the story begins here.
