An AKIMBO TWIN STICK SHOOTER Use a pair of Vampyric Guns -the Gunpyres indeed- to slay hordes of dangerous creatures created by the infamous Crypt Alchemist: each monster is packed with Blood with unique colors and abilities that you can absorb with your Gunpyres. - One Gunpyre for each hand, no one is safe - A never-ending horde of enemies to slay and then some more - Challenge The Crypt Alchemist and his Elite Experiments to escape the Dungeon DIFFERENT BLOODS = DIFFERENT PROJECTILES Upon brutally executing an enemy with a finisher you can receive one of four different Blood Types. Every Type generates a unique Bullet that will behave differently when shot based on its Color and its unlocked upgrades. Use them wisely according to the situation in order to survive. - Human, Freeze, Thunder and Iron Bloods are your weapons of choice - Lots of upgrades - Blood Type specific - that change shooting features at your favor - Unlock the rare Perfect Barrels, an Ultimate Upgrade for each Blood Type EVERY BULLET COUNTS Your Gunpyres can only shoot Blood Projectiles: hopefully it will be the Enemy’s Blood. Miss too many shots and you will have to sacrifice your own Blood to reload the Gunpyres, by stabbing yourself. - 6 Bullets per Gunpyre, choose hastily your next victim to absorb their Blood to - Enemies are weak to their own Blood Type: Shoot the right color to the right enemy to maximize the damage ROGUE-LIKE PROGRESSION Explore the insidious layout of the Crypt Dungeon: its structure will change in every new attempt, so be careful not to spoil your occasion. You have 10 Rune Keys, plan your route and gain powerful upgrades along the way (or keep the keys and let the Crypt Alchemist absorb them for an extra challenge!) - Access to the Dungeon Rooms is limited by the Rune Keys you possess - Explore the Dungeon for secret challenges and unexpected character benefits - Obtain Gold from Enemies to obtain unique upgrades from the Shop ◉ Gunpyre started as an academic project by AIV - Accademia Italiana Videogiochi aimed at adding a production experience to the teaching carried out in the various courses, from the creation of the game concept to commercial publishing. The objective of this initiative is to give students the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from other courses in the development of a video game project in which everyone can put the skills acquired during the lessons to the test and at the same time perfect their soft skills. ◉
