Gopher It is a cozy first-person job sim about being the newest intern in an office full of animals. Nobody brings you work. Someone waves from two desks over or shouts from behind a door, you walk over to hear what they want, and then you go and do it. Play it alone or with up to three friends. Solo or with friends It's the same office either way. With friends, the day's errands are shared, the list grows with the group, and every finished errand moves the clock on for everyone. Can't finish something? Leave it on the spare desk and someone else picks it up. Friends join through Steam. The work Marcel the fox needs four sets collated. Beatrice the alpaca wants a drink and will tell you exactly how she takes it. Pixel needs something moved that weighs more than Pixel does. - The copier. Load the tray, set the count, clear the jam, staple and deliver. - The drink round. Cup in, right button, the sugar they asked for, then across the floor without spilling it. - The post. Desk to desk, plus a courier at the lobby door with a pallet nobody ordered. - Over forty more, from the shredder to a birthday card everyone has to sign before its owner notices. Moving up Errands earn intern points, and points unlock things: copier privileges, a desk of your own, a drinks tray, a keycard for the eighth-floor archive and, eventually, a promotion. There are 26 unlocks, and each one opens a room, a tool, a new kind of errand or a colleague who wasn't talking to you before.No pressure The clock only moves when you finish a task, so there's nothing to fall behind on and no game over. Spill a drink and you go and get the mop.
