About the Game Echo Doodle is a fast-paced, hand-drawn 2D action roguelite that takes place on the pages of a notebook. Fight your way through doodled enemies and clear each stage. After every battle, choose new abilities and upgrades, combining effects that work together to create a different build each run. You may start with nothing more than simple attacks and movement, but as your abilities pile up, the way you fight can change dramatically. Create Your Own Build What you choose—and how you upgrade it—is up to you. Leave attacks behind as you dash through enemies, strengthen your shockwaves to sweep them away, stay airborne and prepare devastating downward strikes, or keep upgrading your basic attack until a simple slash becomes your strongest weapon. Abilities can interact with different upgrades in different ways. Focus everything on a single ability, or combine multiple mechanics to create a playstyle of your own. Every choice you make shapes how the rest of your run plays out. Move Fast. Fight. Dodge. Combat in Echo Doodle is built around fast movement and aggressive action. Dodge incoming attacks, look for openings, and use jumps and dashes to move quickly across the battlefield.
