Deadhand Theater

Deadhand Theater is a dark, turn-based roguelike deckbuilder where you play poker hands to command your shadow puppet's attacks. Tear off your own limbs mid-battle to trigger a powerful effect exactly when you need it most, but lose what they were quietly giving you the moment they're gone. Build your deck, collect talismans, and find out how much of yourself you can afford to lose. - Strategize and form poker hands, pairs, straights, flushes, wrapping ace-to-ace straights, ten of a kind, and more. A single play can even score as multiple hands at once, a pair, a three of a kind, and a high card all triggering their own effects together. - Sacrifice a body part to trigger its active effect in battle, losing its passive bonus until you find or buy a replacement limb. - Add, remove, and empower cards with sigils as you build your deck across a variety of stage types. - Buy talismans and upgrade them to further enhance your combat capabilities. - Reattach missing body parts with stronger limbs found and purchased throughout your journey. - Overcome challenging hexes and stage modifiers that grow increasingly difficult in later stages. We will be adding more items, unique modifiers, bonus levels, and different enemies across varied stage settings. In future releases, you will also be able to choose different starting decks and special characters, each with unique powers, and meta progression will be included to carry improvements across runs!
