À propos : Crate Escape: Program & Deliver
Crate Escape: Program & Deliver is a game of secret plans and crowded floors. Every player programs a warehouse robot in secret with six program cards. Then everyone locks in, and all the programs run at the same time, card by card. Your robot will be shoved, carried off by a conveyor belt and hit by a laser. Plan for it.
Program in secret
You are dealt ten program cards: move forward, reverse, veer, swing, U-turn. Put one in each of your six registers, and lock in. Every card has a number, and the number decides who moves first. A quick turn beats a long move.
Damage costs you cards. A badly damaged robot gets a smaller hand, and its last registers lock with whatever card is in them. Take ten damage and it breaks down.
Run all at once
Register by register, every card is revealed and every robot acts in priority order. Then the floor takes its turn: belts carry, turntables turn, sorter arms shove, scanners fire, and every robot fires its laser straight ahead. One wrong push and the best plan in the room ends in a hole in the floor.
Two ways to play
- Race: reach the numbered checkpoints in order. First to the last one wins.
- Parcels: fetch parcels from the depots and deliver each one to the drop bay printed on it. A robot that breaks down drops its parcel, and anyone can grab it.
A crowded warehouse
Conveyor belts, turntables, sorter arms, gates that open on some registers, trapdoors, portals, scanners, charging pads and repair stations. Power-ups drop onto the floor during the game: bombs, repair kits, extra lasers, saw rings, missile pods, shield generators and the rail coil.
Play your way
- Up to 6 players, any mix of people and AI opponents. The AI plans with the full rules.
- Couch play: up to 6 players on one screen, with the keyboard, the mouse and gamepads.
- Online with Steam friends: host a Steam lobby and invite them. If a player leaves, the AI takes over their robot.
- 165 puzzles in 13 chapters: a small floor, a fixed hand of cards, and one round to find a program that gets your robot through.
- 16 floors: 12 race tracks and 4 parcel floors.
- Every option of the board game: a program timer or none, lowest or highest number first, robot lasers on or off, how many power-ups drop, a round limit and more.
A board game first
Crate Escape was designed as a board game, and this is its video game, with exactly the same rules. Every floor in the video game can be built on the table. Open "Get the board game" in the main menu for a guided tour of the box and every component in it.
