Chained in the Backrooms

Chained in the Backrooms is a 1-4 player co-op horror game. It features levels with liminal space environments where you can solve puzzles, complete tasks, and fight against creatures with unique designs. Your choices will impact the game's progression. The game is based on a popular creepypasta. Unlike other games of this genre, we have created different mini-games and puzzles in each level. As you progress, you will encounter scarier and more intense atmospheres. To advance, you must explore each level, understand the tasks and mini-games, and learn how to deal with the creatures. All the while, you are chained to one another. The chains restrict your movement, requiring you to move together. This may make it challenging when playing mini-games or escaping from creatures. You can interact with environmental elements to survive. There are items you can loot, which can be used to restore stamina and health. Each level may feature different environment designs, puzzles, and creatures. Level transitions are indicated to the players. If players lose, they restart from the checkpoint. There is no connection between levels, and the tasks are independent of each other. The difficulty level will increase as you progress. The Backrooms are actually a dream. Every time you pass a level, you move through a layer of the dream. To escape the Backrooms forever, you must overcome and complete all the levels.
