Anomaly Vault is an industrial sci-fi horror simulation in which you become an employee of APC, the last corporation remaining in a dystopian world. Analyze unidentified anomalies, construct automated processing facilities, and survive incidents that spiral beyond control. You have been assigned as a temporary worker to APC Branch 2-1, an anomaly processing facility. Each day, you must investigate anomalies and install the appropriate conveyor equipment. If every procedure is completed according to protocol, you may make it safely to the end of your shift. Countless anomalies are stored in capsules within APC’s containment sector, awaiting their turn to be processed. Spheres that pulse with light in the darkness. Minerals that react to physical contact. Entities that lure workers toward them. Every anomaly has different properties and reacts in its own way. Even the same procedure will not always produce the same result. Observe each subject. Conduct experiments. Record every change in its readings. You must determine the correct processing procedure for yourself. It is difficult work, but there is no need to be afraid. Should you fail, APC has no shortage of replacements. At APC Branch 2-1, every anomaly is classified and managed according to detailed measurements such as temperature, size, weight, energy, and activity state. Once you have identified the necessary processing conditions, it is time to automate the procedure. Set the direction of the conveyors, install the required equipment, and design a processing line that operates each device in the correct sequence. A variety of conveyor equipment is available for use in your facility. Transform complicated procedures into the simplest possible flow. Turn repetitive work into an efficient automated system. A properly designed line will transport, process, and dispatch anomalies according to specification—all in your place. A single mistake can put the entire facility at risk. If an anomaly is processed incorrectly, the facility may suffer a total blackout. Contaminants may engulf the work area. A living entity may break free from its capsule and begin roaming the corridors. Of course, even when an incident occurs, the work must continue. With only limited information at your disposal, identify the cause, modify your automated line, and confront the threats wandering through the facility yourself. APC records everything. Observation logs. Recovery reports. Notes left behind by previous workers. Audio recordings that were never deleted. As you continue your work, you will uncover traces of the strange events concealed within APC Branch 2-1. How far you choose to pursue the truth is up to you.
