But when a group of foolhardy adventurers steals it, you must embark on a relentless pursuit across five diverse worlds to reclaim what’s rightfully yours! The problem? The locals aren’t exactly thrilled to see an undead sorcerer roaming their lands. Dash through hordes of enemies, wield an arsenal of unusual weapons, and choose between different magical staffs—each offering its own attacks, upgrades, and ways to unleash arcane destruction. Will you manage to reclaim your phylactery? The chase is on! Not everyone you meet is trying to kill you. Along your journey, you’ll encounter a peculiar collection of vendors that are willing to help—for the right number of souls of course... Purchase and upgrade weapons, stock up on potions, acquire powerful active abilities, and equip passive effects that can completely reshape your build. You might even place your fate in the hands of a tarot reader, if you’re feeling particularly reckless. Spend your souls wisely! Choose how Lichie approaches unpredictable situations using five schools of magic: Destruction, Protection, Necromancy, Illusion, and Summoning. Then roll the dice to determine the outcome. Developing a school of magic adds bonus dice to future encounters, improving your odds when using that approach. A successful roll could earn you valuable rewards, while failure—or a particularly disastrous critical failure—may leave you carrying a debilitating fracture for the rest of the run. Choose carefully, trust your instincts, and hope the dice are feeling merciful. Discover weapons, badges (actives), potions (passives), special items, and staff upgrades throughout each journey. Combine active abilities with powerful passive effects, adapt to what you find, and turn Lichie into an unstoppable engine of undead destruction. Even an immortal lich can have a bad day. Return to your castle between runs, complete achievements, unlock new equipment and trinkets, and prepare Lichie for another attempt. Each unlock opens up new possibilities for future builds—and brings you one step closer to reclaiming your phylactery. The heroes are getting away. The locals are getting angry.
