Gameplay - In this cooperative game, two players take control of Jack, an undead pirate obsessed with black powder, and Ed, a living pirate struggling with self-doubt. Explore an island filled with traps and enemies, solve duo-based puzzles, and overcome explosive situations where coordination and timing are key. Each character has unique mechanics, and only well-oiled teamwork will lead you to survival. Narration - Experience a story full of twists and turns, where the clashing personalities of Jack and Ed shape both dialogue and gameplay choices. Between friendship, tension, and revelations, the narrative takes you on a breathless escape from a cursed island. Get ready for an immersive story full of humor, mystery… and black powder! Artistic Direction - Unknowz features a stylized and expressive art direction, blending moody ambiances with bright bursts of well-placed explosions. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the environments come to life in a cartoon style that emphasizes both absurdity and epicness. The island, packed with secrets and danger, is a character in its own right. Project Status - Unknowz is a student project developed over the course of less than 9 months, fully designed and built in Unreal Engine 5.
