A long time ago, King Kourin defeated Vladrouge Scarlet to avenge the death of Queen Marisa’s mother Mima. The Gensokyo Continent was soon under the rule of three kingdoms headed by a different queen. Although Kourin still retained Marisa’s hand in marriage, he wanted each queen’s child to have his blood and strength. He would go on to kickstart three new royal bloodlines by bringing a son and two daughters. During the first decade of their lives, all three kingdoms lived in prosperity. But then, the wicked vampire sorceress Flandre Scarlet of the Gensokyo Socialite Order shattered that peace.
