This game's story can be understood without playing the first THE MIDNIGHT QUEENS. Chu Fen, and her sister Xiao, are low ranking members of a low-level gang, named the West-13 Gang, a subsidiary of the Midnight Queens crime syndicate. The two sisters soon discover their ringleader's precious secret, while also being placed under pressure by their boss to rise to the top. What will they do with their ringleader's secret? And will the sisters' loyalty to each other hold against the weight of Vancouver's underworld? Meanwhile, Betty Hunter, a sniper for the Crimson Dresses Crime Family, has been falsely accused of a triple homicide after a drug deal goes wrong. In search of truth, she heads to Comet Trail, also known as Vancouver's most dangerous neighbourhood. She meets the Purgatory's Embassy, the bikers from the same botched drug deal; and Skye Real Estate, a company that has nearly total control over the neighbourhood.
