Race to the sea River Royale is a downhill battle royale on a real mountain island. 80 rivers drop in from the sky, land on the peaks and race through valleys, forests and gorges. Only one reaches the sea first.Choose your drop Skydive from 12 km up and pick where to land. Start high in the mountains for a bigger river, or low in the valleys for a shorter run to the coast. Rain zones and wildfires are marked on the map, so read it before you commit.Grow or get swallowed - Size is speed. Swallow lakes and puddles to grow wider and faster, then ride the rush. - Cut off rivals. Cross a smaller river to cut it off and steal its water. - Know when to back off. Hit a bigger river and it drains you into its own. - Use the weather. Rain feeds you. Wildfire burns you away. - Surge. Trade a little water for a burst of speed at the right moment. A real island at real scale The first map is Corsica, built from real elevation data. Every ridge, valley and stretch of coastline sits where it does in real life, and the water follows the true slopes of the land.
