Tietoa pelistä Pawtings! Hidden Dogs
Find the dogs, bring the painting back to color
Every level starts with a painting drained of color. Find a dog, and a patch of color returns to the canvas. Find them all, and the canvas becomes a finished work again, in full color, exactly as it hangs in the museum.
No energy bar or penalties for wrong clicks.
Dozens of real paintings
Van Gogh, Klimt, Mucha, Fragonard, Bruegel, and many more, all shown as high-resolution digital images of the original works, not redrawn for the game. The name of each painting is revealed as you play, so you might discover a work you'd never noticed before.
Thousands of dogs, dozens of breeds
A corgi asleep in the brushwork, a dachshund hiding along a shadow, a Great Dane pretending to be a tree trunk, and more.
Hunt together, or against each other
Up to four players, on the same screen or online. Share a canvas and call out what you spot.
Or take your own copy and race to the last dog.
The paintings have their own surprises. Some get in your way, some help.
Light travels across the canvas and the brushwork breathes like oil under gallery light. Rain falls on some paintings, lightning flashes inside them, and now and then the whole canvas drops to black and white for a while. And the paintings have plenty more tricks up their sleeves.
Search to the sound of classical music
More than sixty recordings, from chamber music and piano to full orchestra. Every painting has its own ambience, from birdsong and rain to crashing waves, and a great deal of very good barking.
Drawn by hand
Every dog and every icon in this game was drawn by hand. The paintings are the exception, and deliberately so. Those are the real thing.
Made to be looked at, not squinted at
- The whole paw counts as a click, so you don't have to be pixel-perfect to find a dog.
- If the buffs from the events aren't enough, the hint is always there.
- A miss is just a miss. The game doesn't punish you or limit your clicks.
- You set how crowded a painting gets, and the dogs will be hidden somewhere else next time.
- Switch to full cozy mode if you want: no timers, no weather, nothing sudden, just you and the painting.
The entire game was made by one human and one dog.
