In Oblivio, you and your companions are patients of the psychiatric hospital Abyss. After a mysterious incident, you find yourselves free—right at the gates of the facility—only to discover with horror that it has long been abandoned. To recover the fading memories of what happened—and of who you truly are—you must return to its ominous halls. Escaping the grounds is impossible—an unknown force seems to hold you from within. Your minds are still fractured, clouded in fog, and you constantly forget things, mixing reality with nightmares that lurk deep inside. Each step into the outside world leads you into ever-shifting spaces, built from fragments of forgotten thoughts and buried fears. Your goal is to return to the Abyss and uncover the truth about your past and the incident that set everything in motion. But beware: your illness is your greatest enemy. You will forget your objectives, the placement of items, even each other’s faces. Locations will shift. Trust only the voices of your companions—rely on sound, for visual memory cannot be trusted. The world around you is often unreal, and familiar places can turn into terrifying labyrinths. The inhabitants of these places are born of your fears and repressed trauma—twisted shadows of the past, eager to devour what’s left of your sanity. Gather fragments of memory, search for medication that temporarily clears the mind, and piece together the truth before you’re lost forever in the depths of oblivion.
