Nihongo Daily

About The Game! I build Nihongo Daily to help me learn new words in Japanese. I found that this was simpler and easier than using other, more complicated programs like Anki. I thought someone else might like it and here we are! How to Play The heart of the game is the daily quiz, which you can do more than once per day if you feel like it. Using a spaced repetition model you are shown a Japanese word in Romaji and are given both the Hiragana and Katakana of this word. (Both Hiragana and Katakana are shown for all words and not just words that are traditionally Hiragana or Katakana only) You have ten seconds before to remember what this word means. After the ten second has expired, you are shown the English answer. Did you get the word correct? Press the, now active, buttons. Nihongo Daily will keep a track of which words you got correct and which you didn't and will show you these words at different intervals to make sure you're remembering. Use Nihongo Daily everyday and build a day learning streak. As you progress, earn in-game achievements. The Future I'll be doing monthly maintenance updates on Nihongo Daily, adding new words and maybe new features as and when I need them myself. If people like this I'll continue to add more and more.
