There is stamina. And yet.... ALAS. There is no "lock-on mechanic." Instead: gROMPsTOMPERS has an experimental mixture of "third-person shooter" as well as "souls-like" mechanics. Gameplay revolves around precise well-aimed movement, in conjunction with the standard challenge of dodge-rolling and attack spacing and timing. Trying to get past a shield? -Aim past it. Trying to duck under an enemy attack? -GO UNDER IT. Trying to [...literally anything]? -PHYSICS. So? It's a souls-like AND a third-person shooter.
