DEBTBOUND You’re an unemployed office worker with a $50,000 debt. There’s no legal way to pay it off. A corporation offers you a deal: put on the helmet and enter their augmented reality simulations. DEBTBOUND: Never Unplug is a FPS roguelite where you’ll fight waves of enemies while building your upgrade deck, discovering new items, and exploring procedurally generated maps. Your weapon can also mutate into different combat styles. Pay Your Debt Enter increasingly dangerous simulations, fight waves of enemies, and take on powerful bosses. Or keep pushing forward indefinitely through procedurally generated maps. But be careful: the enemies grow stronger alongside you. Each map has its own enemies and resources. Collect what you find to unlock new upgrade cards and expand the possibilities of your deck. But don’t get too comfortable. Stay too long in the same map level, and the hunters will come for you. Build Your Deck Every time you level up during a run, you’ll be able to choose an upgrade card. Unlock new cards and experiment with different combinations to build a deck that fits your playstyle. Discover the Items Find every item and discover how to make the most of them. Each item can grant powerful effects... but they can also come with negative consequences.
