The beloved man who had entertained her with fairy tales in childhood and surrounded her with care in her youth had left the city and reacted coldly to any attempt to meet.
And then, as if a gift, on her birthday, Michelle finds a letter with congratulations and an unfamiliar address. A special gift had been prepared for her in a special place.
