The Adventures of Freddie and Squeak

Journey through each floor as Freddie the cat and Squeak the dormouse in this co-op puzzle adventure. Use your unique differences to your advantage to escape the clutches of the loving residents of the flat. Jump, scratch, and hiss with your feline abilities as Freddie and scurry through tight spaces and chew wires to cause disturbances as the dormouse Squeak to avoid residents and find the key to unlock the door to your freedom. For players who like a challenge, gather the collectables fish and cheese to increase your star rating. Play side by side on one keyboard for a nostalgic flash-game inspired experience, or take on the challenge solo, by controlling both characters yourself. Prefer your own space? No worries! Full controller support allows you and your friend to take control of your favourite chosen character. Meet Freddie, the lonely indoor cat. Using the left side of the keyboard as his default controls, use his feline abilities to: - Leap effortlessly to access higher places, - Scratch at objects to uncover secrets and access new areas. - Hiss at the humans who want to give him cuddles to temporarily stun them. Meet Squeak, the sleepy dormouse. Using the right side of the keyboard as his default controls, use his rodent abilities to: - Scurry through mouse holes and traverse under floorboards. - Climb pipes to scale rooms. - Chew through wires to frustrate and distract the residents of the block. Once upon a time, in a cosy block of flats nestled far far away, there lived a lonely cat named Freddie, who dreamed of love. Meanwhile, hidden in the walls lived a sleepy dormouse called Squeak, with a very different dream to eat all kinds of delicious food. One day, as Freddie gazed longingly out of the window, he sees a beautiful silky black cat, and is overcome with the desire to meet her. From the comfort of his mouse hole, Squeak sees Freddie's plight and decides to help him escape... and definitely not so he can eat all the food in the block. Work together as Freddie and Squeak in their co-op adventure to reach the bottom floor and escape so their dreams of love may come true. *The Adventures of Freddie and Squeak is still in development.
