The Abyss’s Last Breath

In 1938, an expedition was organized under the codename Last Breath, whose objective was to achieve the deepest manned immersion in history, explore and scan life from the abyssal depths, and extract using a mechanical arm a sample of an inexhaustible energy source discovered in the Earth’s core, with the potential to transform the fate of humanity. No one wanted to take part in this dangerous mission… except John, a man devastated by guilt after an accident that destroyed his life. For him, this mission is not science: it is penance. Aboard a tiny scientific mini‑submarine barely 3×2 meters in size, equipped with archaic systems typical of the 1930s, John must survive the most hostile journey ever attempted, while solving escape‑room‑style puzzles and facing extreme conditions and abyssal anomalies capable of distorting reality and the senses. The descent to 10,000 feet leads him into a hell of pressure and heat comparable to that of a star. But the abyss will not be his only enemy: the anomalies begin to manipulate the memories of his lost family, confronting him with what torments him most and triggering his emotional disintegration. The experience blends claustrophobia and constant tension with psychological horror, in which John must face not only the cold, hostile abyss, but also his own demons, in a descent that will ultimately lead him into his own personal abyss.
