Rusted Hills: Welcome to the Wilderness is a single-player and co-op survival sandbox set in a fallen America after an economic collapse and a civil war. America has fallen. Its cities are silent, its roads are empty, and the wilderness has become a dangerous refuge for the last survivors. Scavenge ruined places, craft tools, build shelter, manage hunger and thirst, and unlock doors and containers in search of valuable resources. By day, you prepare. By night, everything becomes more dangerous. Hacked military droids, hostile survivors, bandits, and other threats still roam the land. Avoid them, outsmart them, or fight when there is no other choice. Survive alone or team up with other players. Build, repair, upgrade, and defend your shelter as you face a broken America one day at a time. When night comes, every decision matters. Deep Survival Systems Manage hunger, thirst, weight, health, and status effects while fishing, farming, mining, digging, and cutting wood to gather resources. Fight or Avoid Danger Use melee weapons, ranged weapons, projectiles, traps, explosives, and the environment to survive. Beware of Hacked Military Droids Deadly machines patrol the land and hunt anything that moves. Hostile AI and Factions Face smart enemies, hostile survivors, bandits, and dangerous factions fighting for control of the wilderness. Quests and Dialogue Follow objectives, discover stories, and interact through dialogue. Prepare for the Night Use daylight to gather resources, reinforce your shelter, and prepare for greater danger after dark.
