Monster Mavericks

The frontier has gone mechanical and the machines have gone mad. In Monster Mavericks, hunt solo or form a posse of up to four players in a steampunk Wild West. Accept a bounty in town, choose your starting loadout, and venture into a procedurally assembled frontier where increasingly dangerous enemies stand between you and your target. Track down your bounty’s arena, gather the posse, and bring the monster down before time runs out. BUILD YOUR RUN Collect experience and choose randomized upgrade cards to strengthen your weapons, movement, and survivability; or assemble an arsenal of nine clockwork drones. Unleash lightning, pierce enemy lines with railguns, and blanket the battlefield in flame. Support your posse with healing and shields, weaken enemies, and turn the ground beneath them into a danger zone. Take control with manual aiming or let automatic attacks handle targeting while you focus on positioning and survival. CHOOSE YOUR LOADOUT Start each hunt with your preferred weapon: - Dual Pistols: Steady, alternating gunfire. - Scattergun: Devastating close-range blasts. - Long Rifle: Powerful shots that pierce enemy lines. - Dynamite Bandolier: Delayed explosions built for clearing groups. Customize your cowboy or cowgirl, choose your colors, and equip glyphs to shape your build. Every posse member chooses independently; duplicate loadouts are welcome. EXPLORE THE FRONTIER The direct route isn’t always the most rewarding. Discover aether spires, challenge rogue elite automatons, and unlock chests while enemies close in. Every detour costs precious hunt time. Push onward to your bounty or take a risk for extra power and rewards. Face three mechanical bosses across their own frontier map sets. Higher difficulties introduce additional boss attacks and richer rewards. RIDE WITH A POSSE Host a Steam lobby, invite friends, and hunt together in online co-op for up to four players. Vote on your next bounty and use mini-map guidance to regroup when the posse splits up. When a teammate falls, stay close to revive them, but be ready to defend your position. BRING YOUR REWARDS HOME Spend Railroad Scrip on permanent upgrades in the Posse Training Web. Craft boss-themed glyphs, equip them to strengthen your loadout, and upgrade them from common to rare and legendary. Defeat bosses to unlock new weapon upgrade cards for future hunts. Review your damage breakdown after each run, refine your build, and head back out stronger. Choose a bounty. Ready the posse. Find the monster. Collect the reward.
