Massive Frontier is a free-to-play, persistent real-time space MMO. Choose your faction, command a growing fleet, build a fortified starbase and fight for your place in a universe that never stops moving. Command a Fleet - Ten ship classes, from nimble Fighters and Corvettes to Battleships, Carriers and colossal Dreadnoughts, with nearly 900 hulls across every faction. - Fit every ship your way with weapons, armor, shields and special modules. Choose railguns, pulse lasers, plasma cannons, torpedoes, void lances and more. - Out-think your enemy. Six damage types and resistances mean the right loadout beats raw numbers. - Grow veteran fleets that level up as they fight. Build Your Starbase Start with a single Command Bridge and expand into a fortress. Build mineral mines, Helium-3 extractors and antimatter condensers to fuel your war machine. Protect them with turrets, shield generators, barricades and defense platforms, and raise a Warp Gate to project power across the Frontier. Research Alien Technology Each faction has its own research tree, with hundreds of upgrades that unlock new weapons, modules and abilities. Some paths lock others out, so every commander's fleet ends up different. Fight in Real Time Battles play out in real time, against other players and against the Tide. Raid rival bases for their resources, defend your own territory, and use positioning, firing arcs and counter-fitting to win fights your fleet shouldn't. Twelve Factions. One Enemy. Fight for the disciplined Iron Vanguard, the radiant Solar Empire or the zealous Celestial Order. Pick the calculating Technocrat Union, the defiant Miner Rebellion or the ruthless Crimson Fleet. Work in the shadows with the Void Syndicate or Shadow Brokerage. Push past the map's edge with the Deep Space Explorers, ride with the Nomad Clans, sell your guns as a Freelancer, or answer to Frontier Command. Each faction has its own ships, weapons, architecture and history. All of them share one enemy: the Tide.
