Biomes shift every 5–10 floors, changing atmosphere to reflect the essence of the upcoming Boss. Dodge lethal strikes, block when necessary, and punish enemies when openings appear. - Deep Build System (Alkir & Runes): It’s not just about stats. Absorb Boss Runes to unlock a powerful sixth active ability—turning your enemy’s power against them. Use the Alkir System at Goddess statues to modify skills, reduce cooldowns, or add new utility like dashes. - Atmospheric Storytelling: No lengthy cutscenes. Encounter cryptic NPCs, decipher lost notes, and read the environment to piece together the tragic truth behind the Floors of Fate. - Hidden Altars & Unique Loot: Exploration is rewarded. THE PURGATORY SYSTEM (CHALLENGER DIFFICULTY) In Floors of Fate, death is not always the end—but only for those who seek the ultimate challenge. On Challenger Difficulty, falling in battle sends you to Purgatory—a shadowed realm beyond the tower where one final trial awaits. - Earn a Second Chance: Survive the trial to return and continue your ascent. - Risk Everything: Fail in Purgatory, and your run ends permanently. This mode features Permadeath, erasing all progress. Lower difficulty modes offer a more forgiving experience, allowing players to learn the tower without the threat of permanent loss.
