You choose your tools. - The Apparatus: Spend Essence to Purchase new potion recipes permanently. Once unlocked, they are yours forever. - Infusion: Feed ingredients to your potions to level them up, unlocking devastating Mutations at Level 5. - The Belt: Equip up to 6 Active Potions and unlock over 30 Passive Slots to turn yourself into a walking bullet hell. ADAPT AND MUTATE Level up during your run to draft powerful synergies. - Standard Upgrades: Boost your radius, damage, or fuel efficiency. - Risky Gambits: Take upgrades like Alchemist's Gambit (pay HP instead of Fuel to cast) or Glass Cannon (massive damage, fragile health). METAPROGRESSION Death is just data. Return to The Metropolis to upgrade the machine itself. - The Workshop: Expand your Fuel Tanks, increase burn yields, and unlock inventory space. - Sigils: Equip permanent artifacts like the Homunculus Core (minions explode on death) or Warden's Sigil (start runs with massive health regeneration).
