Escape the Cavern Abyss is a challenging 2D platformer inspired by classic platforming adventures. Explore dangerous caverns, collect the keys needed to open the gate at the end of each stage, and survive deadly obstacles and enemies along the way.
You'll need more than quick reflexes to escape. Ammo is limited, so choose when to fight and when to avoid enemies. Defeated enemies can drop coins and ammunition, giving you valuable resources as you progress.
But watch your step — one hit can cost you a life.
Explore, Collect, Survive
- Collect keys to unlock the gate and escape each stage.
- Collect coins to increase your score and help recover lost lives.
- Find and conserve ammunition to keep your weapons ready for dangerous enemies.
- Discover magical shields that can protect you from a single enemy hit.
- Find hidden stashes containing lives, ammo, and valuable high-value coins.
- Search for berry plants that can reward you with coins and extra time.
- Bounce/Hit purple berries to build up increasingly valuable rewards, including coins, time, ammunition, and extra lives.
- Avoid deadly hazards including spikes, acid, enemy projectiles, and other obstacles.
Every Life Counts
With one-hit deaths, every jump and every encounter matters. If you lose all your lives, you can choose to spend your hard-earned coins to buy your way back into the game rather than starting over.
