You can prepare for service by researching recipes or just talk to the town people and get to know them! You can buy ingredients and use them to research recipes. Use your intuition for combining items. Can you think of something you can create with the ingredients? Try it out and who knows what results you get! When it's time to serve your customers you have to prepare the food you researched. You set up a number of menu items that the customers can order and the customers will come. You can strike a conversation with your customers or take up their order. When preparing the food you can taste for seasoning and adjust the seasoning as you go. You'll train your palette as you try to taste your food so its highly recommended doing so. When you serve the customer you'll get feedback and they pay. In the end it is all up to you how you want to spend your days. Do you want to spend the day researching recipes or making friends or find love or do you want to open your restaurant the whole day and rake in all the money? Totally fine! This game has RPG elements like skills you train for example: Skills Finesse You train this skill by cutting your ingredients, leveling it up means higher quality end products. Also you'll be able to cut faster and more at the same time. Also improves overall dish quality. Knowledge This gets trained by researching recipes. More knowledge means more available slots for your menu and you can unlock more recipes. Palette When preparing food you can taste your food for seasoning. Doing this will level up your palette and by doing so you can more accurately taste the seasoning and adjust the food which will give you a higher quality end product and more profit. Stress-resistance Even though the restaurant you run does not have to be stressful you can still overwork yourself and cause stress by putting too much on your plate. By keeping close eye to your stamina you will train this skill and gain higher stamina and be more stress resistant!
