Welcome to Crimson Rest Crimson Rest is a retro-style dungeon crawler inspired by classics, mixed with roguelite and puzzle mechanics. Set in a dark fantasy world filled with skeletons, vampires, and cursed relics, the game features first-person melee and magic combat. To keep the tension high, the game uses a wave-based system, challenging players to survive relentless onslaughts. The dungeon is shaped by the player choices with a touch of randomness, adding replayability and unpredictability, while non-linear puzzle mechanics encourage exploration and discovery. The Premise The game takes place in Dracula's Castle, where you must survive the waves of undead sent by the Vampire Lord. As you explore the twisted halls and dark chambers, you'll uncover hidden secrets and search for a way to escape, all before the Prince of Darkness awakens and unleashes his curse upon you. Game mechanics - For every door you open in the dungeon, the game will prompt you to choose between several rooms to shape the Dark Castle. Choose carefully, every draft affects your run! - Find new weapons and relics, and upgrade your equipment for a better chance of surviving the blood-thirsty hordes. - The game is tied to moon cycles: each time you finish a wave of enemies, the moon advances to the next phase. With each phase, special interactions can occur around the castle. - Count Dracula lies in a deep slumber within his coffin. But beware, for he can awaken and cast his curse upon you, making survival far more difficult.
