Harvest raw materials, process them into valuable products, and keep your production chains running, your workers alive and you might keep everyone alive long enough to escape with those credits. As word spreads of your comet, space tourists and those just passing by may land; seeking shelter, snacks, or perhaps just a place to breathe. Build facilities to keep them alive (while they have creds). Entertain them with facilities like the Arquaid, satisfy their thirst at your bar, or perhaps they desperately need your oxygen. But in space, air isn't free. Workers will try to look after the essentials but they too need oxygen and food just like real people. But hey, with enough credits maybe drones will be a better choice.
