In the beginning there was nothing, suddenly , a spark of hope in utter darkness.. Crossing immense space and time , light began to describe wholeness of the space eternal.. creating what appears to be some kind of geometry divided in eight quadrants of eternal space.. endless beams of light, carrying life with them .. soon the eternal space was teeming with life.. Eridanus , the dark river flows between the quadrants, keeping them united and separated simultaneously.. Suddenly ,Phaeton , the "Dark star", fell into the river igniting the separation between quadrants.. From that point Eridanus started flooding quadrants of space .. from its depths , alien species , the "Distorts", emerged.. Technologically advanced they quickly conquered intergalactically quadrants of space.. galaxy after galaxy.. destroying everything in its path.. Life forms had to flee before the eternal darkness.. Historians, eternal beings who were there from the beginning made sure that every life form had its chance to flee before it get caught by the waves of Eridanus.. This is our story.. In Year 2061, mankind finally touched the surface of the red planet. Our probes were sending data of the site of unknown origin in the northern hemisphere of Mars for decades.. and emitting data of big magnetic disturbances in surrounding area.. Substance, latter called "Octium" because of its omni-potency in bending and traversing space and time was found soon upon Mars landing. Mankind officially became interstellar species in the year 2091.. With knowledge gathered from those journeys mankind also left the trails of their visits that ultimately led them to us.
