Whether you faithfully carry out your duties as a cog in the company machine, build relationships by interacting with residents and visitors, or investigate various objects to uncover the truth of Zakuro Danchi—it's all up to you. 10 days of security work under time pressure In-game time progresses in real time, and the speed can be set to three levels (slow, normal, fast). (Time pauses during certain commands and events.) Players can move between the security room and the apartment building, taking various actions. What you can do in the security room Check security camera footage Monitor four locations: 1st floor common area, 2nd and 3rd floor hallways, and the rooftop. Talk with residents and visitors Changing your approach depending on the person may affect future story branches. Answer phone calls Reporting anomalies or irregularities to the management company increases your Order Level. Check lost and found items Manage lost items discovered during patrols. What you can do in the apartment building Patrol each floor and the rooftop / Respond to anomalies Patrol the 1st floor common area, 2nd and 3rd floor hallways, rooftop, and in front of each room's door. Investigate objects / Find lost items Examine various objects and discover/collect lost items during patrols. Rule violations erode "everyday life" Security guards must follow certain rules. Violations increase the "Spiritual Disturbance Level." The Spiritual Disturbance Level has 5 stages. Exceeding Level 5 renders the player unable to act. As the Spiritual Disturbance Level rises, supernatural phenomena occur and affect the screen. Endings branch based on your actions Player actions are recorded as "Order Level" and "Salvation Level." Taking actions the company desires (such as phone reports) increases Order Level, while showing compassion to residents and visitors increases Salvation Level. Depending on your adherence to rules and how you interact with residents, the story branches into multiple routes. Some events and outcomes only occur if specific conditions are met. There are several endings, and depending on the route you reach, the story may unfold completely differently. After reaching an ending, the "Security Journal" is unlocked, allowing you to review events discovered during the 10 days. Secrets hidden behind visitors and residents Residents and visitors generally take specific actions at specific times on specific days.
