X-RL7: Programmatic

X-RL7: Programmatic brings the cyberpunk pixel art world of the X-RL7 animated series to interactive life for the first time. Play as Program — musician, morally ambiguous secret agent and self-proclaimed bad-ass. We join Program on tour with the band X-RL7, quietly keeping tabs on his musical counterparts when he receives new orders. And the clock is ticking. Can he complete his task without blowing his cover at the show? Classic point-and-click adventure gameplay meets the unique musical world of X-RL7. The voice cast features members of LOVE X STEREO, NYXX, AL1CE, RABBIT JUNK, HELALYN FLOWERS, RETURN TO EARTH, ALTERRED and more - complete with brand new music. The source, X-RL7, is an indie web series and music project featuring appearances from musicians of the industrial/electronic/rock music scene voice acting as characters and appearing on original music. Since launching in 2020, the project has released 29 episodes (all watchable on Youtube right now), a smattering of side series and a collection of accompanying original songs - together garnering over 2.4 million streams on Spotify. X-RL7: Programmatic is the next step in the pixel evolution, taking the project interactive. No prior X-RL7 knowledge is necessary to play the game, both newcomers and seasoned pixel-watchers are welcome to dive into this unique blend of cyberpunk musical comedy.
