WinterSeed

WinterSeed is a graduate capstone project created by a five-member team of Master of Animation and Visual Effects students from UNSW Sydney. Led by Wolfe, the game was developed over eight weeks as a collaborative real-time game production. WinterSeed is a narrative-driven 2.5D puzzle platformer that follows Miri, a curious young adventurer, on a journey through a world shaped by the Gods of the Four Seasons. Travel through mysterious forests, dangerous caves, frozen lands and other changing environments as Miri uncovers the secrets behind the seasons. Along the way, players must explore the world, solve environmental puzzles, avoid dangers, transform into different forms to overcome obstacles, and use unique traversal mechanics to progress through the journey. At its heart, WinterSeed is an adventure about courage, wisdom and hope, combining exploration, storytelling and puzzle-platforming within a stylised 3D world presented from a 2.5D perspective.
