關於 TRAPPIST-1
Forty light-years from Earth, seven rocky worlds circle a dim red star.
You are the first expedition to reach it. Or so you think.
TRAPPIST-1 is a hard-science strategy game about settling a real-life star system, TRAPPIST-1. Build industry on the surface, move cargo between worlds on real orbital trajectories, survive the harsh worlds of the system, and stay ahead of rival expeditions.
Two games, one economy
On the ground, you lay out mines, factories, depots and launch sites across hex-mapped planets, linked by road, rail and maglev. In orbit, you plan the transfers that carry what you build where it is needed. Neither half works without the other: a spacecraft is only as good as the supply chain behind it, and a colony is only as good as the launch windows it can reach.
Real orbits, real choices
The planets orbit as they do according to real-world observations, and every transfer obeys orbital mechanics. You don't need to do the math yourself, but for each journey the orbital planner offers three routes: efficient, balanced or fast. As in real-life space missions, you choose what to spend, fuel or time.
A system to discover
What you know is what you have scanned, from orbit or with teams on the ground. Other expeditions may be out there, and they can hide, watch and wait just as you can. Your first decision carries weight: commit to a landing site and start building now, or spend precious time surveying the perfect starting location. A colony with no raw materials dies on the vine.
Space is the enemy
TRAPPIST-1 is hard sci-fi. No alien fleets, no space battles. The danger is the star's flares, the cold, the distance, and a colony that runs out of life support. Rivalries are fought with drone swarms, kinetic impactors and countermeasures, not battleships.
