Rewindead

Rewindead is a hybrid action-puzzle game where you play as a time-looping assassin. Eliminate your target, rewind time, and outplay your past selves as they repeat your previous actions. Cash in on the same contract across multiple timelines, and the faster you play, the greater the reward. Set in a dark cyberpunk future, you owe a lot of bad people a lot of money, and you’re running out of time. Get to work, Contractor... ASSASSINATE YOUR TARGET Take out your target to advance to the next loop. Each mission has a time limit and a set amount of loops you need to complete in order to finish it. KEEP YOUR TIMELINE CLEAN When a loop is completed, time rewinds back to the beginning of the mission, but you start in a different location. Now you have to hunt down your previous self, who will repeat all your actions from the previous loop, eventually beating you to the kill if you´re not fast enough. Each new loop adds an additional iteration of yourself you have to deal with before taking out the target. RETRO-FUTURISTIC CYBERPUNK Assassinate corporate overlords in megacity high-rises and ambush crime bosses in neon-lit back alleys. Rewindead takes you on a global tour of time-loop assassinations, featuring locations like Washington D.C. and Tokyo. MASTER TIME AND SPACE Your movement, routes, and every bullet you fire create ripple effects that shape each upcoming loop. Beware of friendly fire. SET YOUR OWN DIFFICULTY The faster you kill the target, the harder your future loops become. Take your time and set yourself up for easy kills in the future, or orchestrate the perfect temporal hit to earn a top spot on the leaderboard. Slow down time to contemplate your next move or to assist with a tricky shot.
