Modern Wars

Modern Wars is a large scale world simulation where countries controlled entirely by AI compete through wars, diplomacy, uprisings, occupations, and political changes as the global situation develops on its own. This is not a traditional strategy game. You mainly observe and shape simulations rather than directly command armies. Alongside built-in maps and scenarios, the game lets you create completely custom worlds using powerful sandbox tools. You can edit borders, terrain, countries, cities, military forces, and world settings to build realistic geopolitical situations or entirely fictional universes. The game also supports community content through the Steam Workshop, with hundreds of downloadable scenarios covering modern conflicts, alternate history, fantasy settings, and more.
