I'm Making a Monster

Try to build a monster while your friends bother you to take breaks. Play as a mage/scientist and decide how to prioritize your time as you construct the monster. This short interactive narrative is part monster-dress-up game, part friend-dating simulator, and all how-not-to-deal-with-loss advice column. Will you fall into despair or climb back out of the well? Choose what materials you use to make each part of your monster. Reconnect and learn about your neglected friends as you develop your monster. Wade through complex emotions to decide what they each mean to you. As you move through the game, experience time passing. As your character shifts and changes, so will the world. Choose your character's name and pronouns. Choose up to nine pronouns, including neopronoun options. This game is a love letter to friendship and to community.
